The CureNET Project Patient Grant

What is The CureNET Project Patient Grant?

This grant is for any person that has been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumors (NET). It is meant to help cover medical costs, travel to see a NET specialist, pay bills, allow families to spend time together - whatever the recipient feels necessary for them!

We know firsthand the financial impact that NETs can cause for patients and families. We would like to alleviate some of this financial burden.

In 2023, we were able to award a $5,000 grant, as well as two $2,500 grants. At this time, we plan to award one $5,000 grant for 2024. With more donations we hope to provide additional grants, but cannot at this time guarantee any more than one.

How will the recipient be chosen?

The CureNET Project Board of Directors will review submissions and determine the recipient.

What criteria will be used when selecting the recipient?

Each applicant will submit a response to three questions. Each question will be evaluated based on three criteria:

1.) How well the response is presented. We also ask that you please keep all responses to less than 1,000 words - if you can answer the question in a paragraph that is adequate! (*please note: grammar is not being evaluated)

2.) All questions are answered (Please only answer the questions asked and answer ALL questions).

3.) Merit and compelling narrative.

What are the eligibility criteria?

You must be at least 18 years of age or older AND have a diagnosis of Neuroendocrine Tumors. We apologize, but at this time we cannot accept submissions outside the United States.

Why do I need to submit proof of a NET diagnosis?

This grant is only to assist patients that are currently living with NETs. In order, to ensure fairness for all applicants we must be able to confirm that applicants do have NETs.

What is the submission deadline?

Applications must be submitted by October 15th at 11:59 PM.

When will the recipient be announced?

The recipient will be announced by December 1, 2024.
